I struggled with the Celtic knots when trying on my own – for this one I copied the center directly from a book that used a simplified form of an ancient knot. The book is Mandalas of the Celts by Klaus Holitzka. I attempted to follow the instructions in another great Celtic book by Sheila Sturrock called Celtic Knotwork Handbook. These two sources were a great help getting me started. I would like to try another Celtic design because I really like them
