Northern Dragons

My son is a member of the Northern Dragons Kempo Karate Club. They only have seven colours of belts so I made up a special "Emperor Dragon" for the top spot.

I like the general idea of this but am not happy that the dragons do not stand out.

Two years later, I myself join karate aiming for my white belt :-) Dug out this mandala and fixed up the background so that the dragons pop out more - I never liked how insipid they were on the pale background. Much better!
